We’d all agree that we need breaks in order to remain healthy, well-rounded people. Social interaction, activities and fun are all parts of improving the quality of life.
Many people with physical or cognitive challenges have limited incomes. They rarely have opportunities for vacations – for breaks – from the routine of life.
Each year, about 600 people with disabilities come to Inspiration Retreat Center to enjoy one of 16 camp sessions specifically tailored to their individual needs.
Though a week of camp costs only about $400, many of our campers can only pay a portion of the cost. Camp scholarships make up the difference and allow many deserving people with ability challenges a chance to enjoy a much needed, life-changing break from the routine.
Will you help send someone to camp this summer?
Thank you!
