- Volunteer Driver
Here are just a few ideas:
- Personal care: therapeutic massage, styling hair, taking someone shopping
- Social skills: play games with residents, lead a small group or Bible study, volunteer at camp
- Building/maintenance: paint, complete repairs, expand the nature trail
- Grounds: horticulture therapy, plant or tend gardens
- Office skills: help with development projects and a myriad of other office tasks
- Food service: our dining room and camp operations offer lots of options

For the protection of our residents, guests and volunteers we will do a background check on all applicants who will have regular contact with our residents and guests.
Volunteer Application
Ability Impact
Ability Impact focuses on team building, which is accomplished through disability sensitivity training, work projects and ministry. This program can benefit any type of group.
Relationships are built as your Impact Team works, serves, prays and plays together. The daily schedule allocates time to focus on being with God, time for small group sharing and for debriefing. Afternoons are reserved for your Impact Team to relax with time for recreation.
Touch people's lives throughout the year as you leave a tangible mark on Inspiration Retreat Center. Projects include building furniture, expanding the nature trail, painting and stacking firewood. Work together on projects that enhance our facility and grounds. A "foreman" will see that you have the tools and supplies necessary to keep you going and get you to lunch on time.
