| At Inspiration Retreat Center, camping
takes many different forms. There are summer camp sessions, off-season
respite care camps, outdoor education options, and now Travel Tours.
Travel Tours mesh a road-trip, sightseeing, and spiritual renewal
and refreshment all in one. The Tours are special because often
people with disabilities never get to go on vacation. While our
traditional camp opportunities are welcome breaks from life, the
Tours allow people to see many different parts of the countryside,
helping them understand and appreciate the world in a new way.
In an attempt to offer different, unique, and special getaway opportunities
for people with disabilities, Inspiration Retreat Center launched
in 2004 the Travel Tour program by taking a group of 11 by van to
Mackinac Island in Michigan. The 2005 trip brought a similar sized
group to Branson, Missouri. In 2006, a trip to Nashville, Tennessee
included a visit to the Dove Awards, and 2007 travelers visited The Cove, Billy Graham's Training Center. To see the Travel Tour schedule for 2008, click

Every camper must fill out a health
form with their registration. Please complete it and mail
it to Inspiration Retreat Center.
You may also e-mail
it back to us.
