Capital Projects

Each year there are projects that need to be done that are not in our limited budget. These are only accomplished when cash is available. This year there are a handful of vital capital projects that need attention.

Water Line Replacement
After many years of use, some resident water lines and valves need replacing: $45,000

Lodge Room Furnishings
Retreat Center furniture and furnishings are due for replacement so camp can provide a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere for campers and retreat guests: $10,400

Camp Cottages
Your gift to update and winterize a camp cottage can provide new walls, flooring, ceiling, lighting, bathrooms, meeting space, and furnishings.
Camp Cabin renovation: $65,000 each (2 to do)

Lodge Bathrooms
After nearly 30 years, the main lodge bathrooms need upgrading: $15,000

Accessible Climbing Wall
With rock climbing being a popular activity these days, an accessible climbing wall would add a new and exciting dimension to camp programs and create lasting memories.
Accessible Climbing Wall: $22,000

Retreat Center road paving
The time is fast approaching for replacing the driveway around camp. A newly paved road will make traveling by wheelchair or scooter easier on disabled campers: $30,000

Van Replacement
We need to replace one of our fleet vans so residents can be transported to appointments and events without the concern of a breakdown: $18,000

Telephone System
Years ago our telephone system was state-of-the-art. Now we are taxing it to the limits: $18,300
