Short term missions opportunities – organized church groups of 10-25 people who are junior high age or older serve in a direct support ministry alongside our summer staff

Highlights of the programs

Disability Awareness
Most of us have a limited exposure to people with disabilities, yet 10% of the population is disabled. We will discuss common disabilities and give each Impact Team member an opportunity to ‘live’ with disability. Inspiration Retreat Center’s staff is available to provide necessary help when needed. The training will put your Team at ease so they feel comfortable developing a relationship with a disabled person. The Team will come to admire the determination and courage of our guests, viewing their personal talents and abilities as a valued gift.

Ministry
Touch the lives of our guests with disabilities as God touches the heart of your Team. Our guests need your time, a smile, and a listening ear. Relationships are built as you become the hands and feet of our guests, assist with crafts, swimming, nature, special events and much more.
