| Chances are, someone you know has been affected by disability. In some cases, the needs of that person cannot be met by family. The financial constraints and caretaker options just are not available. Inspiration Ministries seeks to meet those needs. The ministry provides residents the components that make life enjoyable and meaningful, such as:
Activities
Dinner and a Movie night, bowling leagues, Luau Party, fashion show, bake sale, coffee socials, and fitness programs to name a few. Residents are encouraged to take part in planning and implementing these activities and events with staff.
Work Opportunities
In the sheltered work center and departments like housekeeping, dietary, laundry, and the newly enhanced resale shop.
Spiritual Involvement
Inspiration Ministries provides a number of opportunities for residents to grow in their faith. As our mission statement says, we exist to encourage people with disabilities with the hope and joy found in Jesus by helping them meet their basic needs and realize their full potential in Christ. This objective is carried out partially through men’s and women’s Bible Studies, resident-led devotions, a weekly worship time called Family Night, outreach activities spearheaded by residents, and counseling with a chaplain.
