At Inspiration Ministries, we are dedicated to empowering and uplifting the lives of our residents and trainees through transformational experiences. As we shared earlier in the year, we want to give you a glimpse of the individuals who inspire us every day. We pray you are encouraged and reminded of the incredible work God is doing at IM through each resident and trainee.

Meet Susie

Susie grew up in New York and later moved to West Virginia. Her family’s connection to the ministry dates back to 1969 when her sister heard about it through her church. Intrigued, Susie and her parents decided to visit, and they immediately fell in love with the community. After moving to IM, she found Chapel on the Hill, where the relationships and teachings deepened her walk with Jesus. 

She describes living at Inspiration Ministries as being surrounded by a family away from home. Over the years, Susie worked in the workshop, participated in Bible studies, and cherished outings and activities that brought the community closer together. Susie states it is a good place to live because of the amazing staff and care. Through it all, Susie’s faith and connection to others have flourished.
